Ball Diamond Repair Certification
Learn the acceptable methods to repair ball diamonds and get in as many games as possible during the season! The Anderson Park District will train interested coaches and parents to properly prepare ball diamonds for play, especially after inclement weather. Field repairs performed without adequate knowledge damages fields, which often prevents future games from being played.
There will be another Field Repair Workshop on Saturday, April 6, at 10 a.m. on Beech Acres Diamond #1. If you have not been certified to work on ball diamonds within the past two years, please register online for the workshop no later than April 4. The workshop will be held on Beech Acres Park Diamond #1.
Renewal: If you have been certified to work on ball diamonds within the past two year, please register to get renewed and review the ball diamond repair information. After registering for renewal, a certification will be sent within two weeks, along with additional field repair instructions. A current certified individual must be present upon ANY repairs being made to an Anderson Park District ball diamond; failure to do so may result in lost field privileges and fines.
