Accessible Text Description: Veterans Park Map

This is a text description of the Veterans Park map. The map is oriented with east at the top. The park is located at 8531 Forest Road. The parking lot entrance is on Forest Road, directly across from Nottingham Drive.

Park Layout & Trail:

The park features a 0.4-mile loop trail that circles the perimeter. An inner trail surrounds the outfields of the ball diamond.

FitCircuit Stations (listed in a counter-clockwise order from the parking lot):

The outer trail features five FitCircuit workout stations:

  • Sit-Up Station: Southwest of the parking lot.
  • Push-Up Station: Further along the trail to the south.
  • Bench Dip Station: In the southwest corner of the park.
  • Chin-Up Station: In the southeast corner of the park.
  • Knee Lift Station: At the easternmost point of the park.

Amenities Inside the Trail:

The interior of the park contains the following amenities, roughly from west to east:

  • A Ball Diamond with a mound.
  • A Fire Ring, located east of the Bench Dip Station.
  • A Small Shelter.
  • A Basketball Court.
  • A Playground, located near the Knee Lift Station.
  • A Large Shelter.
  • The Restrooms/Maintenance Support Facility, which contains an AED.
