W. M. JOHNSON HILLS PARK

Due to parking and restroom limitations, permits will not be available through 2026 for the general public for the fire ring, and/or events. Some resident-based scout troop & Adventure Guide activities may be considered; contact the Park Office: 513-474-0003.

Rental Payment & Refund Policy:

100% of all fees and charges are due at the time of scheduling to hold all dates and items. A $25.00
administrative fee will be retained for rentals cancelled within one week prior to the rental date. Refunds will not be issued for a cancellation within 48 hours of the rental.

Facility Rental Information:

  • The RecPlex Rental Request & Agreement Form is required for a rental to be considered.
  • No Smoking in the building.
  • All rentals are one hour minimum.
  • Excessive clean-up & cost to repair any damage to the facility is the responsibility of the renter.
  • Items not permitted include inflatables (bounce houses, etc.), confetti, glitter and silly string.
  • Use of alcoholic beverages requires a permit; this request must be made at the time of the reservation.
  • Insurance information may be required depending on the event.
  • Set-up and clean-up must take place during rented time. Decorations are the renter’s responsibility.
  • Special events may require the renter to pay for additional APD staff; in this case, a pre-event meeting will be required.

FEES & CHARGES FOR EXCLUSIVE USE OF FIELDS

ATHLETIC FIELD RESERVATIONS

The majority of the ball diamond and soccer field bookings are made with the youth sports organizations. Additional time can be reserved for a fee (see below). Fees are charged to the organizations at large. Regular practices for Youth Softball, and Little League are booked through their league representatives. Permits are required for any organized sports practice, game, camp, tryout, etc.

These fees offset a portion of the ongoing annual maintenance expenses for exclusive use of facilities by permit. Requests are taken from organizations that wish to book APD facilities; please refer to the APD “Field Use Policies” for specific information. Once field schedules are established, time is released to picnic groups and other short-term users.

A league organization and teams may be eligible to receive a resident discount. To receive a resident discount, organizations and teams must submit rosters for audit per Field Use Policies. The following is the scale that will be used for qualification of reduction in rates for lacrosse, ultimate, and soccer:

All Weather Fields

Riverside Park, 3969 Round Bottom Road, Cincinnati, OH 45244

Reservations for the All Weather Fields at Riverside Park are taken by request form completion by the printed deadline (see Request Form) through the APD, 6915 Beechmont Ave., Cincinnati, Ohio 45230; questions may be answered at www.AndersonParks.com or by calling 513-388-4512, Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Telephone inquiries or submission of completed forms are not considered confirmed reservations.

Rental times are Sunday through Saturday, 6:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.; exceptions must be approved by the Executive Director, or their designee.

Rental times must include ALL set-up, warm-up, and take-down/clean-up time.

Insurance is required for all rentals. Please see page 7 of the All-Weather Fields Rental Agreement and Policies for details.

  • Group 2: $56.00 per hour, per field (11v11 field); $39.00 per hour, per field (9v9 field)

Anderson Park District must apply for all tent permits through the Hamilton County Building Department. Tent permits require approximately 4 weeks to be processed.
