Anderson Foundation for Parks and Recreation

The Anderson Foundation for Parks and Recreation is an independent 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to fundraising for the Anderson Park District. It is committed to improving both parks and services in Anderson. Established in 1991, its mission is to provide a direct and positive impact on the community by perpetuating parks and recreation through philanthropy, volunteer engagement and advocacy. The Anderson Foundation for Parks and Recreation seeks partnerships to provide spaces that inspire everyone to play, gather and grow!

The Foundation has a long history of contributions to the park district and it also serves as the event coordinator for Greater Anderson Days.

For more information about the Anderson Foundation for Parks and Recreation, please contact the park office, (513) 474-0003.

Foundation Events and Projects

Greater Anderson Days

The Foundation serves as the event coordinator for Greater Anderson Days.  We hope you will come out and join us for Greater Anderson Days at Beech Acres Park this summer!

Juilfs Park Playground Fundraising

Honor someone special and support your community through the Playground Fund! Leave a legacy for the “Apple of Your Eye” on the farm-themed playground. Donors of $100 or more will have their tribute featured in a lasting, meaningful, and creative way on the sponsor Apple Tree.

A portion of each donation will be used to purchase and install a tribute acknowledgement; proceeds from the balance of the donation go to the purchase of play equipment, surfaces, structures, and landscaping associated specifically with the Juilfs Park Playground. Sponsorships of any amount are welcomed.

Park district staff welcomes the opportunity to discuss gift-giving options with you or your company! Contact Scott Lahman: (513) 388-5091.
