Accessible Text Description: Riverside Park Athletic Fields Map

This is a text description of the Riverside Park athletic fields map. The map is oriented with northwest at the top. The park is located at 3969 Round Bottom Road and is nestled between the Little Miami River and Round Bottom Road, with four parking lots and entrances along Round Bottom Road.

Park Layout

The features a 1.35-mile paved Hike/Bike Trail loop that meanders around the athletic fields along the Little Miami Wild and Scenic River. Patrons can enhance their distance by utilizing the additional paved paths encircling the five ballfields.

Southwestern End:

The southwestern end of the park contains Ball Diamond #2, which is encircled by a 0.24-mile loop trail. A small parking lot hugs the eastern bounds of these diamonds.

Ball Diamonds #3 through #6 are located further northeast. Each is served by a 0.06-mile loop trail.

Please Note: All five Ball Diamonds are currently closed for construction.

Central Area:

The Full Loop Trail extends north from the diamonds. To the east of the trail here is a small playground. To the west is a shelter with an AED, a restrooms and maintenance support facility, and a large parking lot.

Northern Area & All Weather Fields:

Continuing north, the trail comes to a fork. The northern fork continues onward. The eastern fork leads down to the entrance of All Weather Field #3 (containing fields AW3-A and AW3-B). An AED is located in the northwestern corner of Field AW3-B.

Another parking lot is located to the north of All Weather Field #3. Another AED is located in the middle of the pathway between this parking lot and the entrance to All Weather Fields #1 and #2.

The Full Loop Trail encircles All Weather Field #3, this parking lot, and All Weather Fields #1 and #2.

A final, northernmost parking lot is located to the north of All Weather Field #2, outside of the main trail loop.

  • (4) Flyer/Wings Fields: 1-1, 1-2, 2-1, 2-2
  • (4) Shooter/Passer Fields: 2-1a, 2-1b, 2-2a, 2-2b
  • (2) Comp 9v9 Fields: AW3-A, AW3-B
