Message from the Board of Park Commissioners

As we begin 2026, we will continue the search for our full time Executive Director.  We thank Kim Farrell for serving as Interim Executive Director the past five months.

Parks Operations Manager Mike Smith is also interested in the Executive Director position. To be thoughtful, thorough and fair in our search, the Board voted at its meeting on December 9, 2025 to also give Mike an Interim Director opportunity.

Effective January 1, 2026, Kim will resume her role as Assistant Executive Director. Mike will move into the Interim Executive Director role.  We are confident that our leadership team will continue its positive, productive work for our parks and for the community we serve.
