Explore the outdoors! Parents and their preschoolers participate together in a variety of nature activities. Park staff will introduce and lead the activities while you and your little nature explorer participate in a group setting. Dress for whatever the weather might be! Pets are not permitted. Register in advance; space is limited.

Only the registered child and one adult (parent/caregiver) are allowed to attend the program; due to program structure, siblings are not permitted. Registration is for an individual date only. If you wish to attend multiple dates, you must register for each date.

Group guitar lessons are a great way to explore the world of music and gain a fundamental knowledge of and love for the guitar. Students will learn the basics while playing both modern and classic songs. This class is appropriate for beginners. Students must bring a guitar and folder to organize handouts. If you need assistance purchasing a guitar, please contact the instructor, Jon Armstrong. Register in advance; space is limited. 

Instructor: Jon Armstrong, an experienced teacher with a B.A. in music education

School’s out for the day, so it’s time for the kiddos to play! Join us as we travel to Blooms & Berries Farm Market to enjoy a fun-filled excursion that includes a hayride through the pumpkin patch, petting animals, and unlimited play at their popular attractions. Detailed trip information will be emailed after registration. Each participant will need to pack a lunch to enjoy at the farm. Transportation for this trip will be provided by Anderson Park District vehicles. Field trip details are subject to change. Register in advance; space is limited.
