During hunting season, can I hunt with a gun or a bow within the woods in and around the parks since the parks are considered ‘public property’?
Under no circumstances can anyone hunt on park property. In addition, State Law maintains that hunting is not allowed within a ½ mile of a township park. Even if you own property that is next to a park, you cannot hunt on your property if it is within a ½ mile of the park, whether you use a gun or a bow.
