Fundamentals of Exercise

Mondays, April 17-May 22, 6-7 p.m.
Register in advance. This class will teach basic bodyweight exercises (for example, squats and push-ups) with a focus on technique and proper stretching that emphasize general wellness and help avoid injury. Exercises will be introduced slowly and the instructor will demonstrate new exercises each week to grow the participant’s workout knowledge. Bring a set of 2-5 pound weights, a mat and a water bottle. Space is limited.
Classes are instructed by Sharon Chamberlin, an ACE-Certified Personal Trainer specializing in metabolic conditioning and a NESTA Fitness Nutrition Coach. Classes may be rescheduled due to instructor’s availability.
